一.基本信息:

阮勇凌为国家级领军人才。他长期从事糖代谢及运输和糖信号调控植物生长发育和产量形成的研究, 在 Plant Cell, Mol Plant, Nature Plants, PNAS, Nature Genetics, Plant Physiol, Plant J, New Phytol等杂志发表该领域论文130 多篇, 并多次被邀请为 Annual Review of Plant Biology 和 Trends in Plant Sciences 撰写综述。其主要学术贡献包括:

筛选和鉴定出了控制蔗糖输入非光合器官(库)的关键蛋白包括转录因子等并且建立了调控座果,座子的 “Ready-Set- Grow” 的理论模型;

研究并发现了蔗糖合成酶,转化酶,糖运输载体和胞间连丝及其它们的互作因子在植物发育和产量形成以及抗逆反应中的作用;

从进化和功能基因组的角度阐明了糖信号在细胞和亚细胞水平上的起源,传递及其在细胞代谢和植物-环境互作方面的生物学意义。

阮教授目前是国际植物学顶级杂志 The Plant Cell 和 Molecular Plant 的编委。回国前是澳大利亚国立大学和纽卡斯尔大学正教授, 并就职于澳大利亚科学基金专家委员会(ARC College of Experts), 任中澳作物研究中心主任;获澳洲植物科学家学会 Peter Goldacre 奖和国家杰出青年基金.

(i)探索能量代谢如何偶联基因表达来调控生长发育包括果实和种子产量及品质的形成;

(ii)解析植物在进化和驯化过程中控制营养(光合产物)分配的分子创新;
